Welcome
"SAE Pop Metal for a Metric World...

Feb 07

Guitar Players!  Uncle Bobb is looking for an axeman to round out the guitar attack of the band.  Uncle Bobb has a bit of history with many different incarnations.  We are currently reworking the website to tell the Uncle Bobb story, and to present our latest productions.  The website will also have some tunes from "The Admiralty", a side project of Mustapha Mond.

Uncle Bobb is being overhauled with an exciting different sound and approach, that we think is mo' betta.  Basically, more loud guitars.  Some new mixes are on the way after a slight review from our panel of experts.  We also have a video on You Tube.... (search "Uncle Bobb" at You Tube) More to follow after the usual info...

Mustapha will be in New Orleand for bidniz and Mardi Gras and to promote "C'mon'n Makit Funky", the unofficial theme song for MGI'08.

"Bent Love", our latest release, featuring "S'not Love", is now available from the site, either in album form, or individual downloads .

Uncle Bobb is one of  20 bands featured on the "San Francisco Rockers for Life" CD produced by Illumina Records.  The band will also be featured in Cusp Magazine. Go to our myspace page and sign up as a friend, then check out the link to the other bands.

We  have custom T-shirts ready for sale, and the link to Digstation for your online download needs.

Hey! Enjoy our tunes, sign up for the mailing list, and shoot us some comments!  Rock on!

Click the double arrow, " <<"  or  " >>",  to scroll through the playlist on the site-wide music player.

"S'not Love" is a punk ditty about raw emotion in the backseat.
"Hey You" is a rock anthem that speaks of world conditions in the vein of "Ironman" and "War Pigs".
"Hardware Store" is a metaphor for life skills, and
"Debbil Song" is about one true companion who always takes an interest..

More to come....

Kisses and Peace,

Mustapha Mond
